Holbrook: 320 panels on a site that already understands energy

Some sites embrace the scale available to them. Holbrook is one of them.

Holbrook: 320 panels on a site that already understands energy
Holbrook: 320 panels laid out across the available roof area, supported by two inverters and 175 optimisers.

The Holbrook team asked us to install a substantial solar array on their site. The result is a 320-panel SolarEdge system supported by two inverters and 175 optimisers. A steady piece of engineering that now works quietly in the background.

What it delivers

  • 33 tonnes of carbon saved each year
  • An environmental benefit equal to planting around 1,515 trees
  • £525,000 in lifetime bill savings
  • A four-year payback

Why it was an easy decision

There is a certain symmetry in adding solar to a site whose business is energy. The team already understood load profiles, half-hourly data and the value of a predictable unit cost. The conversation skipped most of the usual groundwork and went straight to design.

For a site built around energy, adding solar was simply a practical step with a clear return and very little fuss.

The optimiser count is worth noting. At 175 optimisers across 320 panels, we have granular visibility of how the array is behaving. On a system this size, a single underperforming string can quietly cost thousands over a year if nobody can see it.

Wondering what your own roof could support? We will model it against your half-hourly data and tell you straight.
